it was amazing

Swoony

Nothing I love more than a strong man felled by the love of a good woman. Add a sweet baby into the mix and I'm a goner! This story is not all sweetness and light, though. Noah struggles with PTSD, and Carrie was a victim of spousal abuse. Their combined issues come to an explosive head when Carrie attempts to help another battered woman. I love the way Carrie was written, once a victim she is now a strong and empathetic advocate standing up for herself and protecting her baby. And I love that Noah recognizes he needs professional help before he can be a good enough man for Carrie. A heartfelt read, I loved it!
