Another light, entertaining fantasy by Sanderson, this one set a few hundred years after the Mistborn books. The characters don't have much substance, and the magic system is by now nothing new, but it's still a fun, light popcorn fantasy, good if you're looking for something that's entertaining and not too challenging. The final chapter is the best part of the book, as it throws in a few surprising left turns and also leaves the door open for more Wax & Wayne novels. If you liked Mistborn, you'll probably like this.

Kara So lucky with these ARCs... *smirk* But I suppose it might start to feel like a job after a while... lol. (It is, isn't it?)

Stefan Well, it's a fun job, at least! The only problem is sometimes just the sheer amount of stuff I'm supposed to read and review by a certain date. I was reading and writing 12+ per day for most of this week to get a project done on time. But I consider myself lucky enough to be so busy :)

Kara Ah... yes, busy busy work bees. It's nice when you love what you do.

Kara Sounds like it will make for a good travel listen. Thanks for the review!
