it was amazing

Oh my....REd Ruby Heart is my all time fave book. The way she described things made the words juicy, succulent, fresh and sweet. Hard to describe but it was like eating a cold very ripe pear on a hot summer day. Almost overwhelming. I'd go back and reread whole paragraphs just for the sheer joy of feeling the words enter my soul. And this sequel doesn't disappoint either. Not quite the same style as the first one, but very compelling. I found myself slowing down near the end as I didn't want to say goodbye. I'd even wake up at night and read another chapter as I felt I couldn't leave her feeling sad or overwhelmed as she was in the last chapter read. I loved the setting as I live in Maine near the coast, but that was just frosting on the deliciousness of this book. Well done and can't wait for the next one!!!
