Not so much a mystery as a true crime book, this was written by San Francisco Chronicle crime reporter Henry K. Lee. I appreciate his reporting, and followed his blog during this trial. Unfortunately I don't think his style translates very well to a book of this length. He seems to get bogged down a bit in the minutia. For example, I don't think it was necessary to include the exact wording of the various warrants.

Those who are familiar with the case, or who enjoy true crime (is it possible to enjoy true crime?) will appreciate the book.
