it was amazing
bookshelves: memoir, 2011-reads

I was completely unaware of the controversy surrounding this book when I began it, and when I found out halfway through, it did not bother me at all. I really loved Frey's style of writing, it was so nitty-gritty. Parts of this embellished memoir were downright PAINFUL to read. I was actually glad to hear that he had taken some liberties to embellish parts of the story, and I choose to believe that his experience in the dentist chair was completely fabricated!

This book was very real to me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a strong stomach.
