it was amazing
Read from June 25 to 30, 2011

I loved it intensely and found myself reading several sections of the story twice just for the sheer joy of the experience. Brandon Fox brings intangible attributes (emotion, awareness and sensations) vividly forward through the use of finely crafted imagery, placing you into the minds of the characters in an immediate and perceptible fashion.

“Happiness magnified his beauty like a gemstone being held to the sun.” or “Rhan was intoxicated by his friend’s virile scent. Desire radiated from his skin like heat from a sun-baked stone.” are examples of this eloquent writing style.

The primary character (Rhan) is an intriguing relic/treasure hunter who must keep his unusual ability secret from everyone (even his closest friends and lovers) or face inevitable death. This concept really tugs the reader along in an emotional rollercoaster of adventure and excitement as Rhan is thrown into a world (and a mission he cannot refuse) leading to endless discoveries and wonders. Oh and don’t forget the hot sex... it just gets better and better.
