Case Histories (Jackson Brodie #1)
Gail Gauthier's review
Oct 27, 2016
This is the second Jackson Brodie book I've read. I'm not reading them in order, which may be undermining my enjoyment. Though I like the writing, structurally these books are so different from traditional mysteries that they hardly seem like mysteries. Jackson is barely a main character. The books are broken into sections, and Jackson gets his just as the other characters do. His personal angst is equal to his detecting.
