Jaylen Hayes doesn't feel like she belongs anywhere especially since her mother's passing. Jaylen moves in with Ms. Ward for the remaining five months of her senior year. Yet when Jaylen enters Trinity for the first time, she realizes that she's not alone after all. Meeting Indigo and Michael Reed changes everything for Jaylen. Jaylen feels a level of comfort she's not experience for a long time. Michael becomes very important to Jaylen in a very short time. But Indigo makes Jaylen uncomfortable as time goes on. What does Indigo feel for Jaylen? Why is Jaylen so comfortable with Michael? Your answers await you in Outsiders.

This new to me author really hit all my paranormal and science fiction buttons with this story. The characters and story were flawed, raw, gritty, unique, compelling, real, honest, and complex. I've not read many books like this or had this unique concept either. Leave your expectations behind and simply enjoy this book for all it's worth. Looking forward to more from this author in the future.
