really liked it

While the story may drive the book, it's the characters that keep you coming back. Every character from the main characters to the smallest characters all feel like living, breathing people. The level of detail is often stunning.

The story works and it effectively explores the relationship between the distant past and the present. There were a couple of very small things that bugged me, mostly coincidences and leaps that were more pet peeves of mine than problems.

I'm only on the second book in the series, but I can already see Craig's confidence growing and the writing and storytelling becoming stronger. Look forward to tearing through these.
