Oh my goodness, this was so magical.

Every Heart a Doorway is a book I've wanted to read for quite some time. And a large part of that was its rep of asexuality, something I have never before read in a book, and that is really important to me. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to enjoy it for anything more than that. But I did.

Because yes, Nancy is asexual - and you have no idea how wonderful it was to have a character who feels the same way about relationships as I do - but there was also so much more going on. Add in a touch of whimsical fantasy, murder mystery and fantastical creatures, and you have a very happy Morgan.

I actually adored this book. And it was so short that I absolutely flew through it.

Everyone needs to read this.
