it was amazing

An intricately melded novel where characters pop up all over the place in main, supporting, or single mention roles in different time periods. It was like a collection of Russian nesting dolls strewn all apart from each other. Time passes, punk music is the cornerstone of youth creeping to adulthood, moments (in music and human relationships) encompass single bits and immense spans of lifetimes, and our connections to each other become more and more satirically weird as we reach past the 21st century.

Chas I keep meaning to get to this (this and your short story -- this weekend!!!)! I'll bump it to the top of my pile.

Christopher Egan's novel is much, much better than my story. :P I get a tad too excited when she started name checking all these early CA punk bands I adore and the book just kept getting better from there.
