While this isn't the most wildly adventuresome of the series, it's a nice and different sort of story. Jacky becomes a lady (or, as much as she can, anyway), and starts the Dread Sisterhood of the Lawson Peabody. And the story does have similarities to A Great and Terrible Beauty and A Little Princess, it shouldn't be bashed for it.
