really liked it

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. For the most part, the writing was very good and the characters and all the crazy that came with them added a lot of color and humor to the book. I had a love/dislike relationship with the main character, Brandy, because she was interesting and I could relate to her, but at the same time, I think the authors were trying too hard to sell her as a fashionista. Regardless, it was a good read that included a good amount of suspense and intrigue - adding a complexity to the novel that I was not expecting.

As the next book in the series is less than $5 on Kindle, I might just give it a read.
