4 1/2 stars. Corinne Solomon novel (after Blue Diablo and Hell Fire). A dangerous salt and pepper shaker brings danger back into Corinne's life and reminds her of the dangers of her gift of psychometry. Mysterious Kel Ferguson returns to her life as she goes on a search to find out why someone is trying to send her a death hex and she learns more about herself and him as they travel through Mexico and into other South American countries. Shannon and the uncanny chihuahua Butch continue to be true allies but Corinne continues to struggle with other complicated relationships in her life as she tries to find a man who can deal with her unsettled life, particularly the ties that she has to the demon world. Interesting right turns keep the story continuing as Corinne fumbles her untaught way through the minefield that is her life. Excellent addition to the series, can't wait for the sequel.
