really liked it

Shortlisted for the Queensland Literary Awards, this is a story about little Georgie, Max and Harriet. Little Georgie is well, little, and Max and Harriet are always just out of reach, in the distance, on every page. But little Georgie perseveres, enticing the other children to join her in a game - a game full of secret messages. This story will resonate with littlies who have been left out and want to play. Little Georgie, her whimsical hair, clothes and imaginary world, beautifully illustrated by Gaye Chapman, shine brightly in this charming story.
