really liked it

Mona Awad's prickly, troubled heroine (Lizzie, Liz, Beth, Elizabeth - her name changes as she transforms and grapples unhappily with the body in which she uncomfortably lives) is intriguing, infuriating, haunting and utterly relatable. Meant in the least flippant, most serious way, 13 Ways of Looking at a Fat Girl will get under your skin.
