it was amazing
bookshelves: first-reads

Thank you First-Reads and Goodreads! Mr. Schultz has written a novel that is engrossing, entertaining and filled with "edge of your seat" excitement. His main character, Jack Covington, is the kind of politician many of us would follow today. The small group of Harvard students sets off on a journey to elect a future President. They center their lives on this goal. Everything they do is undertaken with that in mind, even risking and ruining their personal happiness. For Jack Covington stands for taking America back and building her up again. The drive to bring America to the ideals the Founding Fathers held in addition to the enthusiasm of the early 1960's when Jack Kennedy filled the country with his own enthusiasm and drive for a united and strong country looking with optimism to the future gives the reader a journey spanning over twenty years. . . Taking each step with the characters brings the gamut of emotions to the reader. I recommend this Goodreads novel as a great summer trip. . .
