really liked it
bookshelves: crime

A political crime thriller that seems true to life.
An elusive killer takes his last victim and opens up a can of worms that is set to have you guessing to the very end.
The killer's last victim turns out to be the effervescent wife of the governor of California and with her death comes along a set of unforeseen problems that stretches from Megastars to the mob.
The Conspiracy of silence is a very well thought out piece of work. The plot is solid and the writing is intelligent.
It seemed to jump around from character to character a little, but soon I was able to settle into it and just enjoy this read.
With enough intrigue, action and dirty dealings to keep any crime fan happy, I recommend reading this book.
