it was amazing
bookshelves: classic, religion

Dostoyevsky's last novel. Beautiful and moving. I loved Notes from the Underground when I read it in high school, and have read all of Dostoyevsky's work trying to recapture the sense of intensity I felt from that first short novel. Well, here it is. Crime and Punishment is excellent, but this one is really the one that matches Notes. A real classic; one that has to be read.
