Disregard the cover art on this edition. It has nothing to do with the story or the main character. Most coming of age books have male protagonists. Most books with female young adult protagonists are romances. This is a perfectly charming *female* coming of age story. Ginny's recently deceased kooky artist aunt has left a her a legacy of 13 little blue envelopes containing letters and instructions that take her on an adventure, exploring Europe and her own identity. In the end, she comes home as herself, only more so, just as her aunt had intended for her. Sweet.
