I just can't get enough of this Author! Gaiman in incredible! I have to be careful of reading his books at work because I get so swept up in them that I can easily lose track of time. This collection of short stories is a great example of his range as a writer. There are comical stories, disturbing tales and even a couple of poems. One of the great things about his work is how well it utilizes folklore, fairytales and mythology from all over the world to tell stories that are still unique even with such ancient roots. If you've never read any Neil Gaiman before, this is a great book to start with to get a sense of what he can do! If you want to see his skills as a writer of Children's books, try The Graveyard Book.
