Uncommon Stock: Power Play (The Uncommon Series Book 2)

Still fun, but...
Book two, read in the day following reading book one.
It's still accurately describing the startup world, but now emphasizing the crime / whodunnit. That's ok, but it's worth noting in my review.
Two slight exasperations:
* There are a variety of bits of the book that are just writing for writing's sake. They don't advance the story; just give an aside about the mental state of the character. I'm not finding these additive to the book. A hard editor would cross out some whole sections.
* Each book is somewhat short. This is likely a choice, I order to get books out quickly that test the interest & engagement if readers. This may just be the fact of life in the era of self-published authors, but it's not my favorite thing. (OTOH, I'm happy to not have to wait two years between books.)
On to the next.
