really liked it

Auguste Renoir's experience of painting this famous work: slow to start but definitely gets interesting- very neat to get in his head and go through the steps of completing his painting. I also enjoy the life of Paris in 1880.
The characters are the actual models in the painting, who were Renoir's real-life friends. Vreeland does a wonderful job of bringing them all to life.........terrific once you get past the first few chapters!
