it was amazing
bookshelves: science-fiction, horror

This sequel to The Atrocity Archive explicitly draws on the James Bond mythology, which makes sense, since the series is about a British spy (who is explicitly almost the exact opposite of Bond). The combination of his previous world-building drawing on Lovecraftian horrors with the predictable plots and enemies of the Bond world works wonderfully. Highly recommended.
