really liked it

Toni is a pretty tough lady. She works in the undercover business with her brother and best friends. From the early books int he series, she appears to be no nonsense, don't mess with me type of girl. She also puts off definite vibes of --I don't want any attachments---.

So it was wonderful to find out what makes her tick. She has a soft side but doesn't feel she is worthy of the affection. Although the plot was somewhat predictable, the friends to lovers trope never gets old. Lucky and Toni were made for each other. They just need to finally pull up their big girl pants and tell each other their feelings.

As always, great to see the characters from previous books. Love catching up on their HEA while learning about this new couple. Looking forward to reading more about this team.
