I love Paulo Coelho's books... they always leave me with a spiritual question and quest of my own... they open my mind to a different understanding

It is NOT FICTION. It contains "Meditation" exercises at the end of nearly every chapter. The purpose of this book seems to be to remind us of the mystery of the world and that not everything is clear to us as humans, but that despite this, it remains our duty to fight for what we believe is right.
He encourages us to enter a path where the destination is far less important than the lessons learned along the way, and where the astute observer will recognize the parallels between a short pilgrimage and a lifelong one.
