It's a remarkable book. It reads like The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy but is about actual facts. Some things that really stuck with me:
1. The fact that we [humans] are here is astounding.
2. We do not know much about ourselves, Earth, Universe or anything. We assume a lot, but we don't know for sure.
3. All British scientists were really weird fellas.

And there is the fact that after 6 years 1/10 of your pillow weight is your dead skin and the microscopic mite that chew on it. Yikes.

Loved the book throughout.
