really liked it

Yes, Virginia Shreves weighs more than she would like. And she doesn't quite fit in with the rest of her ultra fit, successful family.

But when she finds out the big brother she's looked up to her whole life may not be as perfect as she's always thought he was, Virginia begins to take a hard look at the rest of her family and friends and realizes nobody is as perfect as they appear. Her mother, the adolescent psychologist, seems to relate to every other teen except Virginia while her relationship with her father centers around watching sports.

This is a wonderful story of learning to be comfortable in your own skin. Virginia triumphs and brings the reader right along with her.
