really liked it

Sparhawk and his band of adventurers conclude their adventurers and finds the Sapphire Rose and cures his queen. However the Rose contains more dangers than he’d ever bargains for. Further more when his political manoeuvring stops the Primate Annis from assuming control of Elenia and almighty siege of the Holy City ensues.

The siege is fantastic and Eddings once again shows his grasp of military theory and tactics.

In the Belgraion and Sparhawk series of books Eddings tells superb stories and builds deeply complex and rich characters that you can’t help but connect with and root for.
