Although the book went through a slow spot early on I convinced myself to continue reading and I am really glad I did. The way Stephen King hihlights the effects of bullying while incorporating Carrie's paranormal abilities and the aspect of religion makes it a book that keeps your mind captivated. The writing made it all so realistic that I often had to remind (and sometimes even convince) myself that it is fictitious. Bravo Mr King, bravo!
