This was a hard book to read. The translator's attempt at recreating Spanish theater poetry (think Spanish Shakespeare) falls flat. I've got a hard enough time reading poetry without the forced verse and rhyme scheme. It just felt very artificial to me. There's worth to the play, but I may seek out a different translation if I decide to reread it.
