it was amazing

The moment I stepped in that tiny bookshop, I knew something powerful was headed my way. I held a slow pace, taking my time, not missing a single book on all the rows. I let my hand rise up, sliding over the coarse spines. I kept this up for a while. Then all of a sudden, something caught my attention. My eyes fluttered across a small, white book, with piercing yellow staring back at me. I picked it up, knowing that that petite peice of literature would take me to a place of wonder...and so I flipped to the first page, and started to read.

I truly believe "The Sight" to be one of the greates books I have ever read, possibly the best. David Clement-Davies weaves a captivating tale through his influential words. They role off your tounge like a nice bowl of icecream. He beautifully displays the life of a young wolf destined for greatness...and doom. Her name is Larka, and she was born with sight, the ability to see into the minds and hearts of other creatures. Further, it allows her to see images, of both past, present, and future, through water. From beginning to end her story take her through loss, pain, growth, love, and ultimite sacrifice. This book has opened my mind, and let me experience the world in a whole new view. Battling the shadows of her past, and the possible flower of her future, Larka significantly reminds me of myself; my own life. I have learned much about life from this book. I have learned that love is the greatest of all virtues, and sometimes we must let go of things, to ensure the safety of the ones we hold dearest. Most of all "The Sight" has taught me about myself; has helped me decide what I charish, and what I'm willing to give up. I have learned about new passions of mine, and watched what I once thought important, grow insignificant. This entrancing book has taken me through a journey, a transformation. I love everything about this writing. I love the detailed characters, the beautiful scenery, and the twisting plot. I never once stopped to put this book down, and I intend to watch time float by reading it again and again. "The Sight" is truly a five star book!
