I learned a great deal from this book, not without pain

This version of Copleston’s classic is three volumes in one, Greece to Suarez. While I enjoyed it and learned a great deal, Copleston gets so deep in the weeds to wrestle every nuance, it was sometimes like hitting myself in the head with a hammer - it felt so good when I stopped. I will read the other two tomes in this series. Well suited for professional philosophers, and lovers of navel gazing.
