Fascinating and slightly disturbing history of McLean's Hospital in Belmont, once home to James Taylor, Ray Charles, Susanna Kaysen and Sylvia Plath, and within walking distance of my own home! Read it and see just how far psychiatry has come, and how McLean's patients lived an alternate reality.

DJ Wow! You live down the street from there?! Amazing! It was a really good book, and I would love to play tourist! As long as I don't get attacked or anything. ;)
