liked it
bookshelves: vampires, series, start-of-the-series
Recommended for: Fans of Richelle Mead

Although it was nice to know some of the VA characters again, Mead doesn't have to put us through the first 30% of the book. Those first 10 chapters had me thinking I will be better off without this book. Only some confidence on Richelle Mead had me moving with this book. Although I am not disappointed, I am not excited too.

I missed Adrian too much, that his arrival in Bloodlines was the one I am sticking to, till the end. And Sydney (complete opposite of Adrian) is the main character, although I would have liked it to be Adrian. Anyway, the end of the book made me wanting to continue this series.

Wendy Darling That was a killer last line, wasn't it?

Vidya-BooksAreMagic Absolutely! Not expected in the least..:-) and Mead definitely has a talent of pulling her readers to her next book with those kind of lines, because after that line, I cant wait to know what's going to happen next.
