it was amazing
bookshelves: beach-read, scifi, must-re-read

Zeppelins, dinosaurs, savages, swordplay and the divine right of imperialism and the glorious era when steam and coal ruled, yet we (and they) felt, even then, nostalgic for an era when disagreements were settled with a quick fatal blow to the head and subsequent swooning of the haughty yet barely dressed princess.

And just in case THAT's not enough for you, Oh my God the cover!

I loved and read all of these. The 5 stars is for the whole genre.
