really liked it

On par with the rest of the series, though not a favourite. No Bob Howard, no Mo O'Brian - and a good thing, too, since they'd be much too powerful by now. I found it somewhat short and the ending a smidge abrupt, though.

Marko Precisely the review I wanted to write, but was too lazy to do it.

Eric Abrupt maybe because more a half stop than a full stop (I get the impression the tale is continued in next year's The Delirium Brief.)

Miloš Petrik Oh, I'm almost certain that is the case, and I'm very much looking forward to reading it. I just didn't think it was a very satisfying ending.

What I feel Mr Stross does best is the political and economic follow-up of his characters' actions, and I guess I felt a touch betrayed by the absence of any follow-up to the most life-changing event we've seen in the series thus far.
