really liked it
bookshelves: biography, history
Read in December, 2007

This is truly a lovely book, and it contains a wealth of insight in the founding of the USA, and the role this amazing man played in it. It certainly puts things in perspective to show Hamilton's profound integrity in how he conducted his life, which corrects the ways in which he has at times been demonized by his opponents. And certainly it appears he has at times been misunderstood by history. This book is a gem, and a joy to read.
