really liked it
bookshelves: chi-scfi, chi-comics, chi-alternative-reality

This is a weird, Roald Dahl/Kafka for kids type book. The illustrations not only add to the story, they move it forward. I like it a lot and think it would be great for certain type of kids. It really is strange so you must be compelled by that. Good for reader’s 3-5 grades. Please note, the reading level is pretty easy, the book is short, there are lots of illustrations BUT the story is complex.
