Growing up in a traditional Christian home, Richard Dawkins wasn't even a name I ever heard. Atheism was a far distant thought, something we pitied and scorned. That was many years ago, but as I grew up, I became more aware of just how outlandish religion truly is, and finally came to the realization that I, shock and horror, am also an atheist. I've never really been militant about my atheism, more of a live-and-let-live girl, though I knew religion had its dangers. But Dawkins, in this book, opened my eyes to the dangers of "moderate" religiosity.

I can't recommend this book enough to those who think moderate religion is relatively harmless.
