I wasn't into this one. I enjoyed seeing Snow's kids at the farm trying to control their wolf/human shifting. The fat kid looked really frog like and it made me laugh. For the most part though, this was really boring. It seemed like nothing of much importance happened. The section with Mowgli was weird and I thought the whole wolf battling was kind of lame. Cinderella's story was not my favorite either, but that may be because I haven't really liked a single story where she's the heroine. The one highlight besides the wolf kids was Snow and Bigby's reunion after six or so years. When they finally got together, I thought to myself that it was about damn time.

I'm starting to notice a trend where one volume is super amazing and the next is mehh and then the following volume is back to being terrific. I guess I can't be too pissed because I can't expect this series to be at high excitement at all times. So now, judging by the pattern, I'm expecting Vol. 9 to be crazy good.
