People I've talked to seem to find this book more disturbing than The Lovely Bones, but I actually kind of enjoyed it. The characters are hard to like, but I thought they were pretty realiatic. Maybe that means I need to make some new acquantances. I thought the book was well written and overall worth reading. I could see, however, where a number of people will be turned off by the subject content of the story.

Lori I enjoyed it too-once I got into it. The characters were a little out there, but very human-and yes, the story content was a tad dark, and maybe a little to wild to hopefully happen-at least often, but I ended up being very drawn to the characters too.
