Book 6 of a contemporary urban fantasy set in Denver. The heroine, Kitty, is a werewolf who happens to be a DJ of a paranormal talk show. This installment of the series continues the story arc from book 5. The cult that tried to kill her in Vegas has sent a fire demon after her and everything she holds dear. With the help of friends, both old and new, Kitty prevails, but the threat of future attacks still looms. Lots of new characters are introduced in this book, especially T.J.'s younger brother and the Paradox PI crew.

Is this series worth the time? If you enjoy urban fantasy, yes, though it's not at the top of my reading list. The stories are entertaining, but the characters aren't written well enough to draw me into the stories. I like the books enough to continue checking these books out from the library, but it's not a series that I miss in between books.
