it was ok

I don't know what to say about this book. While it wasn't memorable it wasn't bad. Only it wasn't good. The characters felt underdeveloped, the plot weird? unhinged? lost? had strange turns. For instance: why a Fae would fall for a Faekiller (sorry, faehunter)? What's more... considering her mother is dead and she doesn't know who killed her and she suspects that fairy... why does she fall for him? I didn't feel the attraction or the match between them clicking. It screamed of instalove.
The characters seem to lack depth or coherence sometimes. And for me the plot is important, but if the characters don't "talk" to me the books isn't going to.

So, to summarise the plot: girl goes home because her mother died, but she suspects she was killed. Meets weird stalkerish guy who also makes himself pass as a medical examiner to get access to her mother (a ruse, he wanted to check a rowan coffin that was on the same place). Feelings of instalove arise. She is a faehunter a he a fae. And so on and so forth...
