really liked it
bookshelves: vegan, vegetarian, cookbook, reviewed, non-fiction
Recommended for: those wanting to make easy healthy plant-based dishes

This is the first time I remember finding a cookbook amusing enough to read cover to cover – since then there have been many even more hilariously funny vegan cookbooks published. The recipes given are tasty, easy to make, and very healthy. Nutritional information is included (Protein, Carbohydrates, Fat, Calories, Fat by Calories). The presentation is unusual for a cookbook: there is more explanatory text per recipe than just a simple list of ingredients and instructions. I kind of like the format; it’s rather unique.
