liked it

I really like Bryson's writing style. He uses very funny and fluent language. However, I found the story of less interest. Bryson describes his youth, growing up in the fifties. I missed a plot of some sort in the novel to make me want to keep on reading. Also, I believe that when you grew up in the fifties the novel is of more interest since you will probably recognize things. Lastly, I did think that the historical background, e.g. coldwar, was very intersting to read.
