I had seen this in a Barnes & Noble and the title was enough to make me add it to my To-Read list, so I was excited when I finally got it in at the library. It follows the same format of the last couple books I've read. Comedian who tells short stories that could stand alone to be read on their own, but translate pretty nicely into a full memoir. Ms. Winston's book is no exception. There are a few GOL (giggle out loud) or COL (chortle out loud) moments, but it's not that funny that you'll remember it after another good read. She was a writer for My Name is Earl and now for Community, and not that I watch either of those shows, but I expected more, I guess? It does make you very thankful at the end for not having an ex-boyfriend who is a writer though....that'd be a real bummer.
