"You pull off last season's design well enough, but I'd have gone for the red," he said, and those despite the velvet ribbon they were tied up in, pieced her insides right back together.

This was such a light read, I really enjoyed it. This is the story of Holly Chandler and William Evans, with the backdrop of the fashion scene of, it was a delight to read. The author did her homework and her effort paid off, she described the nature of their work with such knowledge that I felt like I was part of the team. It was a fun read, there were some witty lines, a very swoon worthy romantic interlude, with just a little bit of drama towards the end. Ooh her writing was good especially the flair, this was my first book by this author but I was pleasantly surprised by her talent, pacing also was good, kind of slow in the beginning, but it picks up early on that saves the book, language was also good, with the constant alternate between American and British jargon. Definitely something to look forward to.

But it was what came next that nearly drove him to madness, his eyes raking down her legs that were covered from knee to toe in ruby-red suede.

How do I describe Holly? Well she is a goal driven and so is Will, they are both described as creative, high achievers and have the penchant to put their careers first than their other priorities in life. As I said the story is pretty simple but the style of the author is something to look out for, that being said the Holly and Will are just simply very compelling characters though there is nothing very complex about them, I think they are just developed for this novel only. The book is narrated in third person point of view of both Holly and Will, it is a romance themed book combined with a fashion blitz element. There are also family and friends that are also present from I think the previous book as I believe this book is a spin off.

She had free will, made her own decisions, and trusted herself to make the right one. But she felt a certain comradery with the stars- the ability to shine so brightly from so far away.

This book helped me unwind after a tough day and also more often than not was a pleasurable read, I marveled that I spent just a few hours to finish the book, I enjoyed to the last page. The book is just flows nicely until there is a twist at the end which is just a minor one and then there is the HEA. Overall, it was refreshing, with me swooning over Holly and Will. I also was enthralled with all the fashion fuss and the events related to the runway, that I was also given a glimpse on this industry and how Holly and Will love for chic outfits, I mean they were having some mean dialogues or monologues about the dressing sense and all, it was different than the usual. I have to add fashion enthusiasts will surely love this read. Speaking of which, the romance slowly build up with the presence of other interesting extra characters, they were given few minutes of fame as the story revolves mostly around Will and Holly. When I was reading this book, I noticed a new trend in the NA books, most of them encouraging this new way, to each their own. Enjoy!!!
