Started reading this series of books in December last year and am completely hooked cannot get enough of them. These are set in the late 2050s onwards and are a good combination of crime with some romantic interest in the main characters Eve Dallas and Roarke, Peabody and McNabb with added interest from Feeney the man that saw Dallas as a young copper and moved her into homicide where he trained her and still acts as a father-figure/mentor. I am not usually into the 'romantic' style pulp fiction but these have hooked me and I have been dashing around from library to library, charity stores and booksellers trying to add to my library but due to financial constraints cannot buy the lot as I would love to do. I heard someone outside a book shop saying 'Why doesn't the lottery come-up?' I must say that I echo that sentiment. I have now even got my Mum into them as well!
