The Eleventh Plague
May 19, 2011
After I heard about the Suzanne Collins blurb I was more than ready to grab Jeff Hirsch's debut novel. I loved the Hunger Games and was ready to dive into another book of the same genre. I was glad to see there was something different about this novel. While the genre is the same, there is a relatable aspect to this novel that takes it to another level above the rest. A prime example is the love story. Jeff does a great job of showing the stages of love and leaves out the nauseating factor that most young adult novels have these days. It's a book that both adults and young adults can relate to and I look forward to see the world react to this new author!
